Install on WordPress

On WordPress the easiest way is the Yanita plugin. It links your site to your account without copying any keys.

Install

1. Open your assistant in the panel and download the plugin (yanita-voice.zip) from the Setup tab.

2. In WP Admin go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, upload the zip and activate it.

3. Open the new Yanita menu item and click Connect to Yanita.

4. Sign in to Yanita, pick the assistant for this site and, if needed, allow this domain.

5. Back in WordPress, adjust the button’s look with the live preview and save.

Test mode

Only you see the button at first

After the first connect the button is in test mode: only WordPress admins see it. Once you’ve tried it, set visibility to Everyone in the Yanita settings.

Placing the button inside a page

To place the button inside a page instead of the corner, add a Shortcode block to the page with:

[yanita_voice]

Updates and messages

Plugin updates arrive through the normal WordPress updates screen. The number of new messages from visitors shows as a badge on the Yanita menu.
